On October 17, the Vicente Ferrer Foundation will hold the “Fam de canviar el món” event, an initiative that seeks to mobilize companies and people committed to social transformation in India. The event, which will take place in Barcelona (Esplugues de Llobregat), will feature talks, workshops and activities to publicize the foundation’s projects, focused on education, health, and the empowerment of women in rural areas of Anantapur.

The Vicente Ferrer Foundation, with more than 50 years of experience, has been a fundamental pillar in the fight against poverty in India, benefiting more than 3.5 million people. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the impact of these projects and actively contribute to their continuity.

The event promises to be a space for inspiration and action, offering participants the opportunity to get directly involved in the Foundation’s mission. In addition to the scheduled activities, information points and spaces for collaboration will be set up, where companies and individuals can explore different forms of support, from donations to the organization of charity events.

With this initiative, the foundation seeks to strengthen its network of collaborators and continue advancing in its mission of eradicating extreme poverty and promoting social justice in one of the most disadvantaged regions of India.

The challenge of this event is that with the collaboration of the attendees, the necessary funds can be obtained so that 100 children in the Kathmandu Valley (Nepal) have access to a network of preschool centers, which would guarantee them a safe and healthy environment.
