Expatriación y viajes de empresa

The Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona received last Tuesday, October 29th, the conference “Displacement of workers abroad and Optimization of corporate travel expenses”, an event organized by Feliu N&I and the Iberian Business Travel Association – IBTA, sponsored by AirFrance-KLM and with the collaboration of AMEC (Association of Internationalized Industrial Companies).

Daniel Martin, Director and Manager of the Tarragona Chamber of Commerce, opened the day by welcoming the attendees and presenting the 2020 Missions.

Then, Montserrat Feliu, Partner-Director of FELIU N&I and EXPAT presented her paper on the importance of expatriation policies and the expatriation manual. Also, during her presentation, the migratory, labor and fiscal aspects that are the backbone in the planning of a short or long term relocation were addressed.

Afterwards, Antonello Simoncini, Purchase Manager of Ricoh Spain, who represented IBTA – Iberian Business Travel Association. He explained the market trends and technological innovations in corporate travel and its policies and the importance of using new technologies such as Blockchain and the Digital Workplace,

Alejandro Gallego, Director of Business Unit 3 of AMEC, (Association of Internationalized Industrial Companies), who presented a prospective report detailing the key countries for doing business in 2020, studied by sector.

The cycle of presentations ended with a presentation by Carlos Quesada, Business Development Account Manager of Air France-KLM, who presented the airline as the most profitable and sustainable travel partner and the corporate benefits of the priority and free membership service, Bluebiz.

At the end of his presentation, courtesy of the airline, AirFrance-KLM raffled among the attendees a double ticket to any European destination.

The event was attended by Travel Managers and Human Resources Managers from companies in different business sectors. This event is part of the dissemination and training actions related to the requirements and aspects to be taken into account in an internationalization project.
