Grateful to have hosted and organised in Barcelona the event “China 2030: Opportunities and Challenges of the XV Chinese Five-Year Plan (2026–2030)” in collaboration with our partners CPO & PARTNERS.

It was an honour to welcome the Institutional Delegation of Zhonglou District (Changzhou) and to create a space for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration.

The welcome session was led by Kilian Garcia, Director of the International Department at Foment del Treball Nacional, followed by the opening remarks delivered by Zhu Hanjie, Director of the Organization Department of the CCP Committee of Zhonglou.

Afterwards, Fei Yi, Chairman of Changzhou Zhangging Investment Holdings Group, delivered the presentation “Exploring the Power and Beauty of Zhonglou, Changzhou”, offering a deep insight into the district’s development and potential.

She was followed by Fabio Enrico Pessina, from CPO & PARTNERS, with his session “Opportunities and Challenges in China for the Next Five Years”, providing a strategic overview of China’s economic landscape, past five-year plans, the current plan, and the outlook for the upcoming period.

To conclude, we delivered the session “How to Invest in China Considering Legal, Migration, Labour, and Tax Aspects”, sharing key considerations for companies exploring opportunities in the Chinese market.

The event closed with remarks by Joan Dídac Contreras Gutierrez, President of the Patronal Metal·lúrgica de la Catalunya Central.

We are equally grateful to all the attending companies for their active participation and for the enriching networking moments shared during the lunch. ✨

A very special thanks to Eurecat – Centro Tecnológico and to Joan Guasch
for the productive working meeting held after the event, which allowed us to delve deeper into the promising field of New Materials and explore future opportunities.

We look forward to continuing to build bridges that foster innovation, collaboration and mutual growth between China and Europe. 🌎
